Artemis Framing
is a small personalised Art Gallery and Framing shop in a residential
and leafy suburb of Southport, U.K.
It is operated by the
owner, Peter Stones, whose aim is to offer only the highest quality
of art work and picture framing in an inviting and welcoming
environment
On offer in the Framing
section of the Gallery is a choice of over 400 picture frames,
150 mount board (mat) colours and an almost infinite number of
framing possibilities. You will be expertly led through the selection
process, to make your final decision as easy and painless as
possible.
The Gallery is home to
over 100 pieces of art ranging from original works by professional
and amateur artists, in a choice of oils, watercolour, and acrylics,
through limited edition prints, to open edition prints.
There are catalogues
and CDs holding countless thousands of images, all of which are
easily available, and the turnround time on most framing commissions,
is between 7 and 10 days.
The framing of Fabric
Art is a house speciality.
Items undertaken include silk scarves,
cross stitch, long stitch, stump work and tapestry.
A lot of commissions
are received as salvage operations from less able, less experienced,
and unqualified framers.
Commissions may be undertaken
by several artists, in a range of styles, for human or animal
portraits, caricatures, houses, specific scenes or abstract works.
Photographic restoration
is available, either by computer enhancement, or by our in house
professional photographers.
Professional artists
available to paint murals on the walls of your home,
office, or indeed to design, build and erect statues.
Conservation framing
is available for valuable works, at very little extra cost.
